Welcome to Gammy's Doll Hospital !

I'm glad you stopped by and I hope we can help you with your doll's boo boo!  Gammy's Doll Hospital can fix almost all kinds of dolly boo boo's or just give your childhood friend a cleaning up and Dolly Makeover.
Repair and/or Restoration quotes may be given online if CLEAR photographs are provided of the damage.  However, upon arrival at the Doll Hospital and inspection of the doll in person, this quote could change - NO work is performed on the doll until it has been inspected in person and the customer has okayed the charges.
This 1950s Ideal SAUCY WALKER had never been played with and lived her life in her cardboard box.  As a result she was very dingy and dusty and received a thorough cleaning bringing her back to new life!
All kinds of dolls are accepted for repair at the Doll Hospital - porcelain and bisque, composition, rubber, vinyl, wood, hard plastic.  Your dolls eyes can be replaced, lashes rerooted or replaced, missing hair plugs replaced or a wig restored or replaced with a new look-alike.
This vintage Madame Alexander WENDY ALEXANDER-KIN arrived in pieces and having a bad hair day.  She was soon feeling better and her owner was thrilled to have her childhood doll back in one piece!

Below are a few pictures of my niece's Madame Alexander PUSSY CAT given to her in 1978 with the gown I made her in 1980.  In 1998 she was the victim of a housefire.  Being in a closet saved her but she sustained heavy smoke damage and one side of her face was caved in and she was quite blackened.  She now sits in my GREAT-niece's bedroom, once again waiting for a little girl to pick her up and love her!  This was one of my earliest restoration jobs and needless to say, was done with much love - as all our ''patients'' receive!

If you would like to receive a repair or restoration quote, or a quote for PRESERVING a doll, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Several clear photographs of the doll and the damage you wish to have repaired are needed to give a quote online.  Just click the button below to be taken to an email form!
